Yoga Studio Business Plan Template free and built for studio owners

A yoga studio business plan template that covers the numbers and the part most templates skip: who the studio is for, why they’ll choose you over a gym class or an app, and how you’ll fill your first classes.

It’s a 13 page PDF you can print or fill in on screen, with nine sections and prompts written for a yoga studio, not a generic small business. Free from KO Creative.

Why this one is different

Most business plans rush the marketing

Most yoga studio plans are careful about the timetable and vague about how anyone will find the studio. Then the intro offer brings people in once and they never come back, because nothing in the plan says what happens next.

This template gives marketing the space it needs. Here’s the launch timeline from section 5:

WhenWhat happens
90 to 60 days outLock the positioning. Build the website and booking page. Open a waitlist with one clear reason to join early.
60 to 30 days outIntroduce the people. Show the space taking shape. Open founding memberships with limited places and a firm deadline.
30 to 0 days outPreview event or taster sessions. Collect the first reviews and photos. Remind the waitlist every week.
Opening weekFull schedule, extra help on the desk, content every day, and ask every new student how they heard about you.
First 90 daysFollow up every first visit within 48 hours, track who stays, and move effort to what’s converting.

Positioning is the part most studios skip. Try our free positioning statement generator before you start section 2.

Questions

About the template

Is this template for a new studio or an existing one?

Both. If you’re opening, work through it in order. If you’re already open, start with sections 2 and 5, and look hard at how students move from the intro offer to a membership.

Does it include financial projections?

It includes the structure: startup costs, a three scenario revenue model, monthly costs and a break even calculation. It doesn’t include made up industry averages, because they vary too much by location. Use your own quotes, and ask an accountant to check the numbers before you apply for a loan.

Can I use it for a bank loan or lease application?

Yes, as the thinking behind your application. Some lenders and landlords want their own format, so check first. The answers you write here transfer straight across.

Is it really free?

Yes. You’ll also get occasional emails from KO Creative about marketing for wellness businesses. Unsubscribe any time.

Is this legal or financial advice?

No. It’s a planning template. Insurance, waivers and building rules vary by location, especially for heated studios, so check them with a qualified adviser.
