Social Media Content Calendar for gyms, studios and wellness businesses
Pick your type of business, how often you want to post and when you want to start. The generator builds four weeks of posts, each with a format, a content pillar, a post idea and an opening line. Download it as a spreadsheet that opens in Google Sheets or Excel.
Built by KO Creative from the content plans we write for wellness clients. Nothing you choose is saved or sent anywhere.
What is a social media content calendar?
A social media content calendar is a plan of what you’ll post, where and when, usually a month at a time. It turns “what do we post today?” into a decision you made once, calmly, with the whole month in view.
The best ones aren’t a list of dates. They balance a handful of content pillars so your feed builds trust, answers objections and asks for the booking, instead of repeating the same three types of post until people stop noticing.
Six content pillars, rotated every week
Every week in the generated calendar mixes these six jobs. Most wellness feeds lean hard on one or two of them. That’s why they stall.
- PeopleYour team, your founder, your regulars. People trust faces before facilities.
- TeachUseful answers to real questions. It earns saves and shows expertise before anyone pays.
- ProofReviews, milestones and stories, always with permission. It shows the promise is real.
- Behind the scenesSet up, planning and the details people miss. It makes the business feel looked after.
- CommunityQuestions, polls and local moments. It sells belonging, which is what keeps people coming back.
- Next stepHow to book, what’s on this week, a clear offer with a deadline. Somebody still has to ask.
How to make the calendar actually happen
Batch the filming. Pick one day a month, go through the calendar and capture everything that needs video or photos in one session. A plan without a content day is a wish list.
Rewrite the opening lines in your own voice. The hooks in the calendar are starting points. If it sounds like it could be on any studio’s feed, change it until it couldn’t.
Use Stories for the everyday. The calendar plans your feed posts. Stories are where the daily schedule, quick polls and behind the scenes moments live, most days of the week.
Check what worked, then adjust. At the end of the month, look at which posts led to messages and bookings, not just likes, and do more of those. We cover posting frequency in how often a business should post, and gym specific ideas in gym social media ideas.
Content calendar questions
How do I open the calendar in Google Sheets?
Press “Download spreadsheet”. In Google Sheets choose File, then Import, then Upload, and select the file. In Excel, just open it.
How many times a week should a gym or studio post?
Three or four strong feed posts a week is enough for most, plus Stories most days. Consistency matters more than volume. Pick a number you can keep for three months.
Should I post the same thing on Instagram and TikTok?
The same idea, yes. The same edit, not always. Short videos often work on both. Carousels and photo posts are mainly for Instagram and Facebook.
Is this calendar specific to my business?
The ideas and wording change with the type of business you pick, and the mix follows the same pillars we use with clients. It’s a strong starting point. The detail that makes it yours, your people, your space, your voice, has to come from you.
Is anything I choose saved?
No. The calendar is built in your browser and nothing is sent to us.
Rather someone ran it for you?
We plan it, shoot it or direct your team, and run the accounts day to day. Thirty minutes, no pitch deck.
