Pre-Launch Marketing for Fitness Studios
Pre-launch marketing for fitness studios has one job. Turn a construction site into a waitlist. We build the campaign, the countdown and the content calendar that carries you from announcement to a full presale before the doors ever open.
We ran the full pre-launch to grand-opening campaign for an independent fitness and wellness facility opening a new flagship location in a small Montana town. Built to convert attention into presale sign-ups, not applause.
Book a discovery callIf your opening date is already set
-
You have a date and no content plan
Signage is up. Lease is signed. The feed is still empty. Every week without a content plan is a week of free attention you paid to build and aren’t using.
-
Presale is live and nobody knows it
You set discounted founding-member pricing and posted about it once. Once isn’t a campaign. Presale needs a sustained push, or the discount expires with half the spots unsold.
-
You’re opening a second location
You know the brand works once. Doing it again from zero is a different job. You need a local campaign that builds a new community around a location nobody has walked into yet.
-
Grand-opening week is closing in fast
The date is weeks away. You need a countdown, a class schedule to promote and a way to introduce a team nobody has met before the ribbon gets cut.
The campaign, built in order
- Pre-launch to post-launch content calendarA week-by-week plan from first announcement through opening month. Nothing gets decided the night before.
- Social countdown campaignCountdown content built to hold urgency all the way to one date, instead of trailing off after the first post.
- Presale messaging and promotionContent built around one thing worth repeating: founding-member pricing disappears at opening.
- Trainer and instructor introductionsContent that gets your team known before launch. Day one, members walk in for a face they recognise.
- Grand-opening week and class promotionContent that keeps running through opening week, so the schedule stays full instead of momentum dropping the day after launch.
We built the pre-launch, launch and post-launch calendar from scratch. The countdown, the presale push, trainer introductions and the class promotion that carried straight through opening week. The goal was never impressions. It was sign-ups before the doors opened.

Questions we get asked first
How far out should pre-launch marketing start?
Three to four months out. Presale pricing needs time to build momentum, and people should meet your staff before they’re choosing where to sign up, not after.
Is this the same as brand strategy for a launch?
No. Brand strategy sets who the studio is for and how it talks. This is the execution. The actual countdown, presale content and calendar that runs on top of that positioning.
Do you handle the presale campaign itself?
Yes. We write it and we schedule it, promoting discounted founding-member pricing and keeping it in front of people until the offer closes at opening.
We haven’t hired our full trainer team yet. Is that a problem?
No. Staff introductions roll out as each hire is confirmed. Staggered across the countdown they land better than dumped in one post anyway.
Can this run alongside a grand-opening event we already booked?
Yes. That’s the point. The calendar builds towards the date you’ve already booked, so the room is full when the doors open, not just decorated.
Set a date. We build the countdown.
Thirty minutes, no pitch deck. We’ll tell you what the calendar looks like between now and opening day, and whether we’re the right fit (sometimes we aren’t).
